Couple more Prague photos. 11-28 Updated

Updated 11-28
Here are a couple new ones.
Oh, yea, we went for some coffee this afternoon and ran into that director dude Eli Roth in there.
He's the one that directed Cabin Fever (which was pretty good) and Hostel (which was stupid).
I believe they are here in Prague finishing stuff on Hostel 2.

The first is a building along the river that I just really liked.

The architecture is amazing.
Of course, just about anywhere you point your camera you see something amazing.

The second was a little house on the grounds at the edge of the Strahov monastery.

The third is delicious pork.

When you are in Prague, it's best if you like pork.
And hockey puck-style potato "dumplings" that sit in your stomach like a brick.

This is one of the most important buildings in the history of music.
The Estates Theatre Prague
This building is where Mozart himself conducted the world premier of Don Giovanni in 1787.
Also, for you movie buffs, the interior was used as a Vienna opera house for the movie Amadeus.

The second picture is a night time shot of Prague Castle with the St. Vitus Cathedral visible as well.
I took it from the east side of the river.
This spot has been a fortification of some sort since the 9th century.
It's an amazing site day and night.
We hoofed it up there yesterday (long, uphill walk) and like most of the city, you wonder where to start pointing your camera.

That's all for now.
Both pictures will open in new windows for higher res versions.

More beautiful photos, Mike, but didja have to go and ruin my moment with that....verp...grizzly ickiness?

And tell me, did you give the director your opinion on his flicks? I could see you doing that. ;)

which ickiness, the pork dinner? :)
no, didn't say a word to the director. I don't like to bother "famous" people..

just now sittin in the hotel waiting for the car to take us to the airport in toronto. thankfully, they are NOT getting the full brunt of this storm passing through the great lakes. fingers crossed.

I like churches in Prague. There are a lot of them and I like their style.
