Bush said this today:

No, really, these words actually came out of his mouth:

"It's really sad where people are willing to take innocent life in order to stop that progress (for peace). As a matter of fact, it's pathetic."

Yes, I know the grammar is horrifying, but the whole thing is just dripping with irony.
In any other context, it might be even a little funny. But it's not. Not even close.

He was in Germany visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the way to some "world leader" summit. Lord, can you believe this fucking idiot is a world leader??

And this is a little weird (although we are talking about Germany here):

Fighter jets patrolled the skies and police checked the city's 2,200 manhole covers, welded shut to ensure nothing disrupted Bush's visit. Residents were prohibited from opening windows and shops were ordered closed.

Welded shut manhole covers?? They must have some huge fucking sewer rats or something..

Our friends the Germans did not let us down, though. There were thousands of protesters (kept far from Bush, of course) and 8 rainbow peace banners made it up across the square from where the Chimp was yapping.

I think most of the world is beyond the fact Dubya is an idiot although that does not make it any easier for us to stomach. It is all about control with this man. Our little fascist from Texas fails to see the protesting citizens thus, they are not a part of his reality. They simply do not exist although clearly someone is afraid of what might crawl out from the sewers! Half the nation of Germany could have been protesting out of view and it would not matter; they are ignored more easily than his own national problems and population. For Bush, it is important to remain happily deluded and continue to believe that he and the Republicans are actually doing some good in the world.

Does that sounds a bit bitter? I guess I am just a poor sport when it comes to having a sociopath in charge of our collective future!

Upward and onward, Mike. Fight the good fight for gains in November!

I heard this excerpt on CNN and was shocked. I couldn't believe he actually said that, after the Afganistan and Iraq war. Is he forgetting all the collateral damage?

Wrong choice of words. I know what he was going for, but didn't say that..

WOW....EIGHT rainbow banners!? It must have been so wonderful...they sure showed Bush....

The fact remains that he IS the elected leader of the greatest nation on Earth.

lol...damn senor, that's fuckin' funny.

This post makes it seem like Mike wanted something bad to happen to our president...talking about all of the security measures.

"senor" as you call yourself, I see from your Blogger profile that apparently are interested in both The Constitution and The Gop, which for all sane purposes are mutually exclusive.

FACT: Dubya's "election" to office was in fact more of an APPOINTMENT.

PLEASE DEFINE: "greatest nation on Earth". Such is an arbitrary label indeed, and you had best be able to back up such a boast...if you actually believe it.

BTW: linked you up on my sites, Mike. However, I do all links in alphabetical order... :-)

Best to you in San Diego; I lived there for 4 years and have considered it my honourary hometown ever since (currently living in ALbuquerque, which is a far cry from where I moved here from...DALLAS. Screw Texas!)

Take care,
K.

I think they realize how much this guy is hated abroad and spared nothing to protect him.

Wow, Mike, some absolute fucktard named "Fight The Good Fight!" is flaming me on not my political blog but my PERSONAL one (uh, about mental illness?!?) regarding the response I gave HERE to the likewise brain-screwed "senor". Oh, and his/her comments have been made to a completely non-political post: it's simply the lyrics to Kenny Rogers' "The Gambler"! You should check out what this sanguineous Neanderthal has had to say.

Keep up the good work, Mike. I seriously don't know why I didn't find your blog until recently! :-)

LOL!

I feel sorry for people who are so intellectually dull that they get their rocks off by hunting down people to insult online. It IS kind of funny yet simultaneously shary, wouldn't you agree? :-)
