She stuck it to Rummy pretty good today.

She later even said that he should step down and the Pretzeldent should let that happen.

Finally someone is calling them on the failed fucking policies of the Neo-Cons:

"Under your leadership there have been numerous errors in judgment that have led us to where we are," the New York Democrat said at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing. "We have a full-fledged insurgency and full-blown sectarian conflict in Iraq."

"We hear a lot of happy talk and rosy scenarios, but because of the administration's strategic blunders — and frankly the record of incompetence in executing — you are presiding over a failed policy," she said.

"Given your track record, Secretary Rumsfeld, why should we believe your assurances now?" "There's a track record here," countered Clinton. "This is not 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, when you appeared before this committee and made many comments and presented many assurances that have frankly proven to be unfulfilled."

Of course, he denies all this, but she's pretty well right on the fucking money here.
She voted for the war, so I cannot excuse her for that, nor can I excuse her for continuing to support it, but I am glad that at least ONE asshole with blood on their hands can get a public dressing down at the least.

Let's face it, there were no fucking roses and chocolates, there was no WMD once things got going, there WAS and is sectarian violence (and really, let's call it civil war, because that's what it is) this has been no cake walk.
They were warned beforehand by people on the inside who were NOT part of PNAC what this would take, but they chose to listen to Perle, Wolfowitz, et al instead.
And Rummy is complicit in all this because he's the top fucking dog. Secretary of fucking Defense.
He needs to go.
Shit, the whole lot of them need to get shipped right the hell out of Dodge, but I ain't holding my breath.
