The end of an era

Well, the end of part of an era of corporate greed and filthy pigs ripping off people.

Ken Lay drops dead in CO of heart attack.

Maybe he finally got a conscience and when it came along, his helpless ticker stopped in its tracks.

Oh, well.
I just hope they can get some of his filthy lucre and pass it along to the people he screwed over.

I wonder if Bush will pray for Kenny Boy's soul..

Damn. Some people will do anything to get out of prison.

Now ordinarily I don't believe in saying negative things about someone who's just died. That said: Ding Dong the Bitch is Dead!

I hope they're certain that this isn't some sort of fake; that he's actually slipping off to Rio for a lifetime vacation.

I just read that he recently bought his wife a $200,000 yacht even though he was facing millions of dollars worth of lawsuits. He defended this, saying that "it's hard to just turn off the spigot" when you're used to a certain lifestyle. What an asshole. Thousands of Enron employees had to "turn off the spigot" when their jobs and pensions got yanked away from them.

Whatever comes after this life, it won't be pretty for him. Fun's over.

who knows, maybe he's pulling some James Bond thing.

I don't ordinarily speak ill of the dead either, but in this instance... fuck him.

Mike - If there's a hell, he's burning.

It's all very tidy. Now Dubya won't have to pardon him when he leaves office. To be honest, I've been worried about that since his conviction.

Rove had him whacked.

No one need feel sorry for the Boy..his family will now get to keep all his illegally gotten loot since the case must be dropped..his due process can not be had, if he can not appeal..and its kinda hard to do that from hell..
