Just where are we headed here?

Look at these few wire headlines from today:

U.S. Spending Billions to Stop Iraq IEDs

Bush: Iraq Insurgency Wants Civil War

Bush defends Iraq policy

Look at what's going on here.
We have gone from a quagmire to a full scale civil war and there you have Bush stumping for his little invasion.

They were told that this would take more men and more money.
And the ones that told it were fired.

They were told that we have to have a plan to win the peace, but no one listened.

Now we have the insurgency in it's "last throes" and factions at war.
Here we are spending more BILLIONS trying to beat people who are killing our men with fucking pipe bombs.

Little note to the "Commander in Chief": If you have to spend billions to whoop on people that are beating our boys up with pipe bombs, I think it game fucking over, asshole.

I wish I could look forward to a day when Bush and his mentors, Rumsfeld & Cheney, are on trial for the many war crimes they have committed in our name, but unfortunately it would probably take some other country to bomb the crap out of us on our own soil for this to happen.

They'll have their day sooner or later but until we get some balance in Washington it'll definitely have to be later because the Repubs aren't going to hold this administration accountable.
