and then there's Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson.

Here's what she said on "Meet the Press" about the Fitzgerald investigation into "Plamegate":

I certainly hope that if there is going to be an indictment that says something happened, that it is an indictment on a crime and not some perjury technicality where they couldn’t indict on the crime so they go to something just to show that their two years of investigation were not a waste of time and dollars.

This would just be plain hysterical, if it weren't coming from the same right wing (herself included) that were all over getting Bubba on a "technicality" that wound up seeing him impeached.

Of course, the little "technicality" of perjury can get you up to 5 years in the stir (though most often not).

Can anyone see the irony here?
I mean, this would have to replace any example in a dictionary.

Listen to me, people with brains, don't buy into this shit!

Please, don't forget a few things, lest the Repugs start in on you about this being some kind of Democrat or liberal "which hunt".

Who appointed Fitzgerald: Ashcroft.
Who said that he should appoint Fitzgerald: Bush
Who asked for an investigation into this matter: The CIA

Yea, sounds like a left wing conspiracy to me..

These twisted wingnuts probably think having an affair with an intern is a more serious offense than lying to get us into a war that kills 2,000 American soldiers.

yea, I can see where a stained dress would be MUCH more important.
funny thing is, in the case of Bubba, they (meaning the entire right wing and Starr) were out to get the fucking guy, but in this case, this administration walked themselves right into this shit.
