And to end the week:

We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

Awe... what a cute little letter in the Trib yesterday. Couldn't have been creative and left me a comment that was original 'eh?

Good going Mr. Vella, I see I need to step up my letters to the editor.

actually, I used my comment, which was also a post here as my letter, so that came first.
you should feel honored..

Well, like I said, I have to be the voice of reason in the ditors section of the Trib, that they printed your letter shows that they are losing their touch. :)
I haven't sent one in in a while.

Good letter, Mike, posted here and in the Trib. Congrats on a job well done, too!

You inspire me to be more political. I actually voted this year; how about that?

Jenn, be honest, please.
My letter is hardly out of left field.
Lou Dobbs and George F. Will have in the last couple of days published basically the exact same thing that I wrote.
They must have been reading my blog..

Jay, I'm happy that you voted.

Thanks for the kind words, Steve.

Now, how 'bout that rockin' Pete Townsend picture???

And let me just say that the Who rocked that song last Saturday night at the Bowl . . .

That song is more relevant now than ever.

cool that you got to see them, diane.
they really do kick ass live.

I've seen them a few times, but it's been a while.
I think the last time was when they toured doing Quadraphenia entirely every night.

I last saw them in San Diego, at whatever the hell you guys are calling the Charger's stadium these days. What a show!

I'll always call it The Murph.
