Maybe the Padres should have played this guy

Since they're 0 for 22 with runners in scoring position in their series with the Giants so far..

At right, a drunken fan evades security on the field.

Ben Johnson did his part last night, though with a diving catch in center field and two homers.

Padres still lost 5 to 7 in 13 innings, though.

BTW, Bonds wasn't supposed to play last night but started the game, homered in the second and then left with a sore elbow. It was his 84th career home run against the Padres, 44 of which have been here, more than any road city.

i'm not usually a baseball fan but my Tigers are kickin' ass so far this season... can you believe just a couple years ago they had the worst record in baseball and here we are this year with the best record so far.

{keepin' my fingers crossed}
