The best idea ever: Selling F16's to Pakistan

Is this a reward for them being on our side on the "war on terror"?

Maybe it's for helping the CIA with their rendition thing.

Of course, they are trying to ease our fears they will NEVER allow this technology or the planes themselves to get in the hands of another country.
They'll hand over the billions of dollars and all will be well.
Of course, there is that squabble with another ally of ours (India).

Oh, and were you wondering if Bush felt the need to fill anyone in about the sale?
Why should the president consult with congress?
He just waits till the ink is dry.

HE is the decider.

The fact that we are a huge arms dealer in the middle east and Asia is so awesome.
I wonder if we have any mustard gas left over from the Reagan years we can sell someone else now that Saddam is our enemy..

Pakistan, sure, that's a nice safe place to sell weapons. The country doesn't have any Islamic rebel groups who could get their hands on these weapons. And they aren't feuding with their neighbor to the East who has nuclear weapons. Oh, wait...
