Truthout is reporting: Indictment for Rove.
Yesterday, Truthout reported on their website:
Karl Rove Indicted on Charges of Perjury, Lying to Investigators
First part of the story reads:
During the course of that meeting, Fitzgerald served attorneys for former Deputy White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove with an indictment charging the embattled White House official with perjury and lying to investigators related to his role in the CIA leak case, and instructed one of the attorneys to tell Rove that he has 24 business hours to get his affairs in order, high level sources with direct knowledge of the meeting said Saturday morning.
Very interesting.
And although I have yet to see anything else out there from AP or Reuters, there are a couple places that have picked up the Truthout story.
We shall see, but I have a feeling come Monday morning we will see plenty more.
Unfortunately, we probably won't get to see photos of that asshole being carted away in handcuffs ever, but this is a nice way to round out the weekend.

I sure hope this is true. If anyone deserves to do hard time, it's Rove. Tricky Dick 2.0 -- LOL.
I'd sure love to see something happen! There was such good momentum building for a while there, and then the focus all seemed to be on Scooter. Good to see the focus getting back to the two guys who are probably the major culprits in this case, i.e. Cheney and Rove.
An indictment is wonderful if it's true. Then Rove needs to be behind bars... otherwise, he will still be out there swift-boating any Democrat he can. Of course he could probably still do that fairly easily from jail.
Remember the movie/story "Papillon"? We need something like Devil's Island for crooked politicians. Put them on the island with a few basic tools, some small livestock like pigs or chickens, a few cooking pots, some matches, etc. and let them see how they like it. No lobbyists, no money, no limos, no interns, no health care, nobody to depend on but themselves... just like they think all of us Americans should be. Independent! No social programs! You have to EARN what comes to you!! Well, guys like Dick, Karl and Scooter have EARNED something like Devil's Island, as far as I'm concerned.

Rove is the G. Gordon Liddy of our time, only without the military cachet.
and in prison, Liddy was NOT the bitch that Rove would certainly be..
