Play this movie and I won't eat!

I think the anti-Da Vinci Code people are starting to get just a little weird.

In India, the head of the Catholic Secular Forum (whatever that is) seen here, said he has started a "hunger strike until death" according to this BBC story.

Christ Almighty.
Whoops.

I mean, goodness. I think this may be a little bit of an over-reaction for a movie based on a silly second rate thriller.
Sure, it's a fun "beach read", but how is it that people are so up in arms about all this?

They're trying to crucify this.. oops.
I mean they are trying to stop this piece of fiction before people even have a chance to be blown away by Tom Hanks' new haircut.
Damn.

Chill the fuck out already..

Absolutely right!! Good post. Thanks for just saying it like it is. After all, it is FICTION for pete's sake and it is easy reading and holds the interest. Like your blog by the way.

I love it that extreme religious nuts from all stripes are getting bent out of shape about this. The word "fiction" is apparrently lost on them.

I can't believe all the Christian hysteria over the Da Vinci Code. It was a good read, but it was fiction; it wasn't pretending to be anything else.

India is already crawling with billions of people. If a few Christian fanatics starved themselves to death, who'd notice?
