I know we've probably all heard this a million times already today, but
In regards to the State of the Union tonight:
This year, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union Address fall on the same day.
It is an ironic juxtaposition:
"One involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication, and the other involves a groundhog."

LOL. Great description.
His SOTU speech sounded more moderate and conciliatory, but don't believe a word of it. He's still the same powercrazed neocon, just trying to sugarcoat his message. If his poll ratings go up as a result of this speech, there are more dummies in this country that I thought.
I doubt if the dummy ratio has changed, but the polls do fluctuate here and there.
I don't believe anything that comes out of that asshole's mouth.
Knowing what we now know about "Clear Skies", "No Child Left Behind", etc.. anyone with a working cell should know when he's full of shit...
Let's not forget the "Patriot Act".
Seriously, I can't believe he's the president.
It blows my mind every time I see him speak. It's embarassing.
This joke drives me crazy . . . if only because the State of the Union and Groundhogs Day are NOT on the same day. While I certainly appreciate each and every shot at the President (F$!#@*), it freaks me out when his critics (us) make the same kind of stupid errors he does. He's such a 'feckin idiot.
Other than that . . . great blog. One of the few I actually stop to read.
Eh, close enough for hand grenades, horseshoes and lame duck presidents.
Yea, I hear what you are sayin' Miss Pants.
But, I was at a loss for a post and thought the joke was funny, even with the mistake in date.
I appreciate the kind words and having you stop through here while surfing the Internets.
I still found this post more entertaining and factually sound than the State Of The Union Address, Mike.
