Great work for one of my favorite authors

I have been reading Michael Connelly since his first book, The Black Echo (which won the Edgar for best first novel, and of which I have a first edition signed copy, like all his books).
I have never been disappointed. Not once in 15 books, and I'm sure that I will love number 16, The Lincoln Lawyer.
Nope, haven't read it yet, just picked it up and heard that it debuted at number one on the NYTime's best seller list, though next week it will drop to 2.

There are about 4 authors or so that I have held on for this long or longer, James Lee Burke, Lawrence Block, Carl Hiaasen, Jonathan Kellerman, Faye Kellerman and Michael Connelly.
They are now and have always been a cut above the rest in the mystery/crime fiction world.

I'm sad that this year around I might not get to have this new one signed because I missed the event in La Jolla, but I'll catch him next time around.

If you are a fan of good fiction, I hearby order you to get to your favorite store and get a copy of the new one (which is a stand alone novel), then go back and read his other books, starting with the first one about detective Harry Bosch, the aforementioned Black Echo.
