From the right and the left: The Miers nomination seems to stink to high Heaven
Awesome cronyism, yea?
And here's Bush trying to defend himself:
"I picked the best person I could find,"
Right. With no experience as a judge and happened to be your personal lawyer at one time.
"There should be no doubt in anybody's mind what I believe the philosophy of a judge" should be, Bush said. "And Harriet Miers shares that philosophy."
God, I cannot even begin to think what goes on inside his melon. I don't think anyone wants to ponder that.
Look at that smirk. Makes one want to kick him in the teeth.
I wonder if he's back on the sauce?
Big mouth right winger Pat Buchanan sez:
"Handed a once-in-a-generation opportunity to return the Supreme Court to constitutionalism, George W. Bush passed over a dozen of the finest jurists of his day -- to name his personal lawyer.."
Get over to Shea's site and see some great links about Ms. Miers.

Thanks for the link up! This is the sort of story that leaves me "constantly amazed.."
Just when you think you've seen it all, they pull something else! They are nothing if not resourceful!
the smirk kills me, though.
it makes me crazy!
