Remember Bill Bennett? The one time Educ. Secratary and "Drug Czar" author of "The Book of Virtues"?

Nice guy this Bennett.
First, like all right wing freaks of his ilk, he needed to write a book telling people how to live. What a pompous title, "The Book of Virtues". A-hole.
Well, turns out of course, that he likes to TALK about virtue, but when it comes to his own life, that's a different story.
Had a little gambling problem, did old Bill, to the tune of several millions lost as news reports in 2003 let us know.

Well, as we can see in this latest story, he's got some nice things to say about the Blacks and crime.
I'll let you be the judge. Go out and Google more about it. I heard a tape of it myself, the whole conversation.
What gets me is that someone would be that stupid to even let that statement come out of his mouth.
How does it happen?

Here's a snippet from Reuters:

Bennett, a conservative radio commentator, stirred outrage for saying on his talk show on Wednesday: "But I do know that it's true that if you wanted to reduce crime, you could, if that were your sole purpose, you could abort every black baby in this country and your crime rate would go down."

"That would be an impossibly ridiculous and morally reprehensible thing to do, but your crime rate would go down," he said on his call-in program "Morning in America."

I say he exemplifies the proud traditions and values of the good upstanding right-thinking republicans across the country. Well, across 51% of the country, anyway...

I think we're taking back some of that barely 51 percent they had in '04
