Judge to Bushco: F U!

US judge halts secret wiretapping by NSA

And the best quote of the article:

"It was never the intent of the (constitutional) framers to give the president such unfettered control, particularly when his actions blatantly disregard the parameters clearly enumerated in the Bill of Rights," Taylor wrote in a 43-page opinion.

Well, she must be some kind of activist judge. A moonbat that hates america and wants the terriers to win. How dare she hold up the Constitution of the United States as the rule of law in our country. Doesn't she know that it's "just a goddamned piece of paper"?

Let's hope this is a first step to getting these illegal cowboys out of office.

Hard to say how this one will go, Mike. The process has been so badly corrupted for so very long and of course, Shrub & Co. will try their best to have the matter set aside until hell freezes over or until the Supreme Court yet again has the opportunity to side with their dumb asses. The mid-term and perhaps even the next presidential election will likely be over before that happens!

Excellent ruling. I'm glad there are still a few intelligent unintimidated judges out there.

Needless to say, rightwing bloggers are having a major hissyfit over this. Who needs Comedy Central when you can be entertained by the wingnuts.

well, we all know that mikesamerica knows better than a federal judge.

This is a fine example of why it's important that federal judges are appointed for life - they can make these type of tough decisions, and slap around the other branches of government, without fear of losing he next election.

I don't understand why this is surprising to anyone. I've said it before, I'll say it again: This isn't a matter of politics, it's a matter of LAW!

not surprising, just .... refreshing.
